June 2021 Safety Award: Stephen Rumleskie & Quinn Cunnane, Goldie Mohr Ltd.
While driving to a jobsite, on a public road, Stephen & Quinn noticed a vehicle driving slowly and weaving, then coming to a stop.
Quinn noticed the driver had her head down as if she was sleeping. Both employees went to go investigate. Stephen called out to the driver with no response, she appeared to have passed out. They secured the vehicle into park.
The driver was diabetic and was having a low blood sugar episode. They kept her responsive until the paramedics arrived on site.
We applaud these workers for their quick reaction and willingness to assist the public and keep our roads safe. Well done!
