Locates Open Forum

On June 17, 2022, NCHCA and the City of Ottawa partnered to host a Locates Open Forum, bringing together locate system partners: contractors, City staff, Promark, Ontario One Call and utilities.

The objectives of the Forum were to:
(1) understand the challenges faced by the locate system partners
(2) identify strategies and solutions to improve locate performance

The City of Ottawa supports our efforts to improve the Ontario locate system and has offered to escalate when locates are delayed on City projects. Please keep your City project manager advised of any delays experienced.
