NCHCA has partnered with OCA for the third annual CHEO Construction Drive-By at CHEO on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00am. We look forward to bringing smiles to the faces of children in palliative care at CHEO and Roger Neilson House.

A staging area and parade route have been planned to make it easy for equipment to drive through and for families to watch from the windows of the hospital, Rotel, Ronald McDonald House, and Roger Neilson House, and from the sidewalks along Ring Road.

The building of Roger Neilson House as there was a tremendous charitable commitment of labour, materials and money from around a hundred local construction firms. The effort was led by Roly Hein, CEO of RE Hein Construction who raised $2 million dollars. Roly unfortunately passed away too young at age 67 in 2013.
