ExperienceOriginally from Sturgeon Falls, Mr. Levac, is a Franco-Ontarian resident of Ottawa. He is a licensed professional engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Ottawa. Upon graduating from university, he obtained a co-op position with Lafarge Canada Inc. in quality control and worked in aggregate and concrete production. While at Lafarge Canada Inc. he worked in the Gatineau office as a lab manager for two years and later as an estimator for five years before returning to the Ottawa office in the role of construction manager. It was during this time that he became more involved with asphalt plants. In 2009 Coco Paving Inc. bought Lafarge Canada Inc. and Mr. Levac worked for Coco Paving Inc. from 2009 to 2013 as the assistant general manager of Ottawa and Gatineau. In 2013 he joined R.W. Tomlinson Limited. Ivan held several positions such as Assistant Manager, of the Heavy Civil division, also the City and Commercial Division while managing three stationary asphalt plant operations from 2015 to 2020. Currently, Ivan is the General Manager at R.W. Tomlinson Limited. Ivan is also a former NCHCA President and is an active Director for both the Ontario Asphalt Pavement Council and the Ontario Road Builder’s Association.
